In 2011, the Ferrari Challenge Series will see a change to its car of choice for the international race series. Since 2006, the single-make series has featured the Ferrari F458 challenge car. For 2011, drivers and fans are treated to the newly-released Ferrari 458.
The Ferrari 458 Challenge Series is specifically designed for Ferrari owners and gentlemen drivers who are looking to hone their skills in production-based, purpose-built Ferrari racers in a competitive yet friendly environment. Cars used in the Ferrari Challenge retain the same overall appearance and engine as road-going Ferraris, while incorporating a number of significant track-oriented modifications and a host of new features not previously seen in Challenge cars.
